Burns Printing Company, Inc. was founded in 1924 by John F. Burns of Olathe. Ed Redinger joined the firm in 1938. In 1966 Ed, his wife Joan and their son Alan purchased the company from Mr. Burns.

In 1986 Joan and Ed retired and sold the business to Alan. In 1992 John Burnell joined Alan and they continue to further expand and grow the company.
